Description:
A beautiful and small late 17th century oak six plank coffer. The kid having moulded edges and detailed punch work on either corner. The front being a gouge carved board of lunettes above two lozenge motifs. Which are also replicated on the side boards which stand on ogee cut arched feet. Interestingly somebody has made a later zink liner for this coffer. Making it the ideal log box. Measures 20.5" high. 25" wide and 12" deep
